The Egg and I has been rated the best breakfast in Englewood for the price.

• Review: Several years ago The Egg and I would have been the last place Id have chosen for breakfast, however, a couple of months ago a friend insisted I meet him there for breakfast. I was amazed how much the quality had improved from my last visit of over five years ago. Since that meeting, Ive eaten there ten more times and The Egg and I continues to be my Breakfast Place of choice. The portions of their #4 breakfast are large. The price of $6.00 is well worth paying, and the waitresses are a joy to be around. Actually, I would go there just to carry on with the waitresses over coffee, which is excellent. Also, and finally, the interior of the establishment is very clean and gives the impression of visiting grandmas house. I love the place ! Source:
